StarCraft 2 Tips

1. Researching Hallucination

Don't forget to research Hallucination for your Sentries. Hallucinations are great for scouting, absorbing damage, tricking your opponent, getting vision up ramps, charging up your Void Rays and depleting Point Defense Drones.

2. Opponent Resource Evaluation

If you're not sure how long an opponent has been harvesting gas, you can select his refinery to see how much gas remains. You can use this same trick at new enemy expansions by selecting the minerals.

3. Control Groups

When you have a lot of Zealots, you should give them their own control group. This will make it easy to keep your Zealots in front of your ranged units.

4. Timing Your Force Fields

Force Field lasts for 15 game seconds. Turn on your game clock and glance at it when you cast Force Fields so that you can have perfect timing on recasts.
