1. Stick together

Being near a teammate can really help you slay your opponents. Make sure to maintain a little bit of distance to avoid both of you being taken out, but remember that being in the same vicinity can save a pinned down teammate in many situations.

2. Recognize the spawns

Having knowledge of the spawn system and how it works depending on positioning of players on a particular map is essential to success at the Black Ops Pro level. To train: try hovering up high over the entire map with Free Cam mode in Theatre and pay attention to the locations of living players and where dead players are spawning back in relation. Using this trick will quickly teach you the spawn points.

3. Be a team player

Racking up big kill totals can definitely help your team. However, if you fail to make split second objective decisions, you can still cost your team the game. Don't be that guy who never hops on the flags in Domination or pulls the flag in CTF while the opportunity is there. Always be objective minded in addition to your role on the team.
